  • What is the best thing about your job? The feeling I get when I know the work we are doing is making a difference (and of course, my co-workers).
  • What words would you use to describe PBM Elder Law? A group of kind and reliable individuals who are full of compassion and genuinely care about their work and each other.
  • What has been your proudest moment working at PBM Elder Law? I am proud to work for PBM as a whole. I am constantly learning new things and I am given the opportunity to show that in my work.
  • What do you like to do when you’re not at the office? Date days with my fiancé, or lounging around watching football! GO PACK GO!
  • How do you define success? To me, success is being able to adapt and grow through any situation.
  • What are you passionate about? Music! One of my all-time favorite quotes is: “Ah, music. A magic beyond all we do here.”- Albus Dumbledore
  • If you could pick one superpower, what would it be? Keeping up with the Harry Potter theme – I want to apparate! (teleporting to all the muggles out there)
  • If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you want to meet? There are so many people to choose from! If I had to choose just one though, I’d have to say Kelly Clarkson. She seems to be genuine, kind, funny and talkative (like me!). And I have loved her music from the start.

  • What is the best thing about your job? Being part of a firm that will work together when a family is in crisis to get the job done and, of course, my co-workers.

  • What has been your proudest moment working at PBM Elder Law? One may think it was 3:30pm candy hour while sharing the peanut butter sponge candy delivery from my special guy with my co-workers, but really, it was completing my first Trust, start-to-finish.
  • What do you like to do when you’re not at the office? Spending time with friends and family at the firepit or on a nice long Harley ride.
  • How do you define success? Happiness, when you are happy everything else just falls into place.
  • What are you passionate about? My family!!!
  • If you could pick one superpower, what would it be? The ability to pick the fastest checkout line!
  • If you could visit anywhere in the world you’ve never been, where would you go? Ireland/Scotland – But honestly…Nashville, I owe somebody!!!!

  • What is the best thing about your job? Managing my own cases and having co-workers that make me laugh on a daily basis.
  • What words would you use to describe PBM Elder Law? We are the complete package when it comes to aging. From helping people with basic documents as they become necessary, to planning Trusts and Wills after you have a family, to helping guide you through the questions and various directions you can take as you reach your senior years.
  • What has been your proudest moment working at PBM Elder Law? Submitting my very first case to the Department of Social Services and having them respond saying it was ‘Perfect’ is pretty high up there. Just knowing the attorneys trust me enough to see a client through coming into the office for their initial appointment all the way through submitting their application makes each day pretty great.
  • What do you like to do when you’re not at the office? Spend time with my husband, my pup Penny, family and friends. When downtime presents itself, reading is my go-to choice.
  • How do you define success? Being happy.  It doesn’t matter what you do, who, or what you have in life. If you’re happy, you’re successful.
  • What are you passionate about? Books, the City of Buffalo, potato chips, and the Bills!
  • If you could pick one superpower, what would it be? Time travel.
  • If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you want to meet? This is a hard one, there are so many. Jane Austin, Princess Diana, and Angelica Schuyler to name a few.

  • What inspires you? My one-year old son constantly inspires me and pushes me to be a better mother and person.

  • What 3 traits best define you? I am loyal, intelligent and really funny.
  • What is the best thing about your job? The best thing about my job is working with my team to ease a client’s fears and concerns. My clients come to me with very real and immediate fear for their loved ones and their livelihood. I am able to make sure that the necessary care and support is in place while preserving the assets my clients have worked a lifetime to earn. Seeing the relief in a client’s eyes is immensely gratifying.
  • What words would you use to describe PBM Elder Law? The team at PBM is dedicated, hardworking, and compassionate.
  • What has been your proudest moment working at PBM Elder Law? I have had MANY proud moments at PBM, but I have been most proud to watch our team support each other during health crises and times of grief.  It is during these times when our firm’s fundamental philosophy of “doing everything with love” is most apparent.
  • What do you like to do when you’re not at the office? Like most of us, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I love to travel, whether near or far, and usually have some sort of trip in the works.
  • How do you define success? I don’t really have a definition of success, but I think a successful person pays attention to even the very small things, and consciously recognizes the beauty therein. I think of the late, great Kurt Vonnegut, who said: “I urge you to please notice when you are happy, and exclaim or murmur or think at some point, ‘If this isn’t nice, I don’t know what is.”
  • What are you passionate about? I am most passionate about the people I love.
  • If you could pick one superpower, what would it be? Invisibility. No question.
  • If you could visit anywhere in the world you’ve never been, where would you go? The Galapagos Islands or the very bottom of the Grand Canyon.

There are many historical figures that I would love to have a conversation with, but perhaps Abraham Lincoln is the one individual I would love to speak with at the current moment. He was a wonderful orator and statesman who led the United States through great a moral, constitutional, and political crisis.
